Several months ago Ms. Jeanna sent Jordan and I an enthusiastic email about a brand of furniture paint called Amy Howard at Home. This was the first I had heard of Amy Howard paint, so I browsed the website and came to a video on her home page explaining her tagline, “Rescue, Restore, Redecorate.” This video brought tears to my eyes as Amy Howard explained her mission of rescuing broken pieces of furniture and restoring them back to their previous glory. Amy Howard explains in her video that this is just what the Lord does with us. We knew her products were beautiful, and after watching this video, we knew that this is a company that Chapel Farm Collection would like to represent.
Days later Ms. Jeanna and I, filled with nerves, headed to Memphis to go through the Amy Howard workshop. Ms. Jeanna and I were both anxious about this workshop because as much as we love art, we didn’t see ourselves as artists. After two full days of learning and practicing techniques, we left Memphis feeling empowered and energized as true artists! Without a doubt, Amy Howard’s products are all user friendly. Anyone can use these products to transform their home or treasures!
The first of eight Old World techniques we learned in our workshop will change your artistic life! I am amazed by the simplicity of Amy Howards One Step Paint. This is a revolutionary paint that allows you to transform furniture, cabinetry and everything in-between with just one swipe of rich, chalky-soft color. Yes, it’s that easy! All that sanding, stripping, or priming- who needs it?
We are so excited to say that Chapel Farm Collection is hosting the famous Amy Howard, owner and proprietor, during our Grand Event weekend! She and her staff will be teaching a class on how to use her outstanding one-step-paint. This class will be held on Saturday morning, November 1st, from 9:30 AM-11:30 AM. Sign up on our events tab because spots are limited. You do not want to miss this incredible opportunity to meet and learn from Amy Howard.
Chapel Farm Collection is not only selling Amy Howard’s eco-friendly and safe products, but we are going to continue to host workshops which we will be teaching different Old World techniques you can use to rescue, restore, and redecorate old, tired looking furniture. We hope learning to use these simple yet sophisticated products Amy Howard at Home offers, will give you a passion for art and redecorating as it has us! We look forward to spending time with you at upcoming Amy Howard workshops!
